How to Prepare for Delivery

1. CHOOSE A SITE.

Good: Well draining, reasonably flat yard
Better: Well draining, graveled area
Best: Concrete pad

2. PREPARE THE SITE.

Clear the building site of old structures, debris, rocks, stumps, low-lying and overhanging tree limbs, etc. Minimum clearance required is 15′ tall & 3′ wider than building width.

3. CLEAR THE DELIVERY PATHWAY OF OBSTACLES.

Remove debris and low-lying & overhanging limbs along the delivery pathway. Make arrangements to remove or open gates & fences prior to the delivery date.

Minimum clearance required along the entire pathway is 15′ tall and 3′ wider than the building width.

4. PURCHASE CONCRETE BLOCKS.

Your concrete blocks will be used to block and level the building by the driver.
The driver will provide wood blocks as needed for leveling.
Use the charts below as a guide for purchasing correct number and type of blocks.
An insufficient supply of blocks may result in rescheduling your delivery.
Multiple trips may result in additional fees.
Unused blocks can usually be returned to the retailer.
Place concrete blocks as close to the site as possible without blocking delivery pathway.
Do NOT purchase 2″ thick stepping stones or patio stones.

RECOMMENDED CONCRETE BLOCK TYPES

4"X8"X16" CONCRETE BLOCK

Recommended for well-draining yard, gravel or concrete pad.

4"X16"X16" CONCRETE BLOCK

Recommended for moist or wet sites to minimize sinking.

8"X8"X16" CONCRETE BLOCK
